Annie: born Oct 16, 1890 in Canada. She would have been 6 at the time of her mother’s death.
She lived with her aunt Betsy Hutcheon Cummings in the Colony.
She met Dan Flannery when her sister Nell met and married his brother William. They were married in the Colony on Feb. 22 1909. She would have been 19 and Dan was 47. This was not his first marriage.
Jean Flannery Radom did not know her father. He lived and worked for the Carey Maple Sugar Co in Vermont. He came to Fort Fairfield on one occasion when she was in her teens and she met him in town as he did not come to the house. When he passed away in 1936 Jean remembers that her mother and brother Wallace went to Vermont to bury him.
Jean and her siblings lived with her Aunt and Uncle, Nell and Will, whom they called Nana and Grandpa because that’s what the Nicholson boys, their cousins, called them.
